This is the real deal, not at all like the ''colored horseradish'' we get at restaurants - after sampling it at a Japanese festival in Montreal I realised I never had real wasabi before!
The flavor is much more interesting and complex. It is not as overwhelming to the nose as horseradish but it still has some minor piquancy - I love using it on various meats or as a mustard replacement
